The V-Test II Vickers Hardness Tester is an advanced digital hardness tester designed for precise hardness determination on metals and ceramics. The basic set-up includes manually positioning the Z-axis on a test stand and manually positioning the X-axis table with a magnetic supporting table of Ø 100 mm. The black and white camera features digital optics with zoom micro objective and 20 times magnification, including illumination, with other objective options available.
This automated hardness tester is ideal for microhardness testing and adheres to various hardness testing standards, including the ASTM E384 hardness test for microhardness. It supports the Vickers hardness method, particularly the ISO 6507 Vickers test and DIN EN 2639 hardness standards. The indentation hardness tester operates on the Micro Vickers scale, making it suitable for precision hardness testing and metal hardness measurement. Additionally, it can be utilized for ceramic hardness testing, ensuring detailed laboratory hardness tests across different materials.
If needed, the IRHD M or IRHD N indenters can easily be exchanged by the customer. For calibration, certification, and evaluation of the instrument, only the measuring head needs to be returned to our laboratory. Please use the original transport case when sending the device to Bareiss, while the test stand remains with the customer. This efficient setup ensures that the hardness testing equipment is always ready for accurate and reliable measurements.
