Vulcanized rubber dumbbell specimens are placed within an aging test chamber and subjected to varied temperature settings, such as 70/100/120℃, as recommended by standards. The thermal aging process of the rubber can be carried out using laboratory aging ovens and accelerated aging ovens for various durations, such as 24/48/96/168 hours, depending on the specific features of the materials. This polymer aging test, often conducted in accordance with ISO 188 aging test and ASTM D573 oven aging standards, requires precise aging oven calibration. The process includes high-temperature aging to analyze the differences in tensile strength and elongation before and after aging, ensuring compliance with DIN 53508 aging test requirements and other accelerated aging ISO standards. Additionally, specialized rubber aging ovens may be utilized to optimize the aging conditions for rubber materials.
